Harriet Tubman was a symbol of boldness during her lifetime. Born into slavery, she overcame theserestrictions and dedicated her life to helping others from the horror of slavery. She undertook numerous threats on her journeysback along the Freedom Trail, transporting hundreds of people to freedom.
